Longest journal drought ever! I hopped my CrappyJet flight to paris soon after my last journal. They managed to be delayed an hour yet again due to an ill passenger who noone could talk to because the flight crew did not speak French. Another passenger had to translate for them. Upon arrival in Paris, CrappyJet managed to misplace my backpack (henceforth dubbing them CrappyJet). How nice. I suddenly had visions of a whole new Paris wardrobe curtosy of not-so-EasyJet. Unfortunately they returned my bag later that night. Georgina and I made our way to the Hotel Rivoli where we would spend all five nights in Paris. It was run by a nice French lady and her kids. I was loving the fact that I could finally carry on proper conversations with people in their own language. Our room had an okay view by day, but at night, the square across the street lit up like a Christmas tree. While in Paris, aside from wandering the city's many enchanting streets, we visited the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe, the Money Museum, Notre-Dame Cathedral, the Moulin Rouge and the Louvre. Eating had certainly improved in France with wonderful bread products (including bagels) and fine French cheeses, wines and champagne.
